Bearsted Korfball Club and Academy was established in 1998 and has a history of strong youth development over the last 20 years with a number of players from its junior ranks going on to international honours. Although one of the biggest clubs in Kent we maintain a family feel and have a strong social scene.
Korfball is a ball sport, with similarities to netball and basketball. It is played by two teams of eight players with four female players and four male players in each team. The objective is to throw a ball into a netless basket that is mounted on a 3.5m high pole.
